Swami Swaminathan
Swami has over 40 years of rich and varied experience in General Management, Finance & Accounting, Sales & Marketing, International Trading and Human Resources Management. He has successfully concluded & executed several M&A projects across US, Europe, APAC, Middle East & India in multiple business verticals.
Swami recently exited as the Chairman of Manipal Integrated Services (Manipal Education & Medical Group) after providing strategic direction, profitable growth and strategic exit to the corporation. He was instrumental in driving a key acquisition and integrating the new entity to form an 18,000-people business. Earlier, as the Executive Chairman of Manipal Health Enterprises, Swami provided direction and leadership to the healthcare business, expanding its footprint within and outside India. Swami was also the initiative lead for one of NATHEALTH’s key initiative – “Bridging the Health Divide – LEVERAGING DIGITAL INDIA“
Prior to joining Manipal Health Enterprises, Swami was the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Infosys BPO (a fully owned subsidiary of Infosys Ltd) with annual revenues of over USD 600 million & industry leading profitability. Swami led the firm building a 25000 + team worldwide, of over 65+ different nationalities in their workforce, with global operations in 6 centers in India and over 18 centers outside India in Americas, Europe, China, LATAM and APAC.
Swami presently is a Director on the boards of Tata Business Support Services (wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons) & School of Inspired Leadership.
Ian Cavanagh
Ian was a Partner with Ernst & Young based in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he led the IT Advisory Practice in Atlantic Canada after EY’s acquisition of Ambir. In addition, he was also a champion for EY's Purpose Led Transformation initiative, focused on helping clients in the region, to realize their full potential in business and society.
Prior to the acquisition of Ambir by EY, he was Chief Executive Officer of Ambir, an independent, Atlantic Canadian headquartered IT consulting company. Ambir was a leader in the consulting services space; twice recognized as “The #1 Best Place to Work in Atlantic Canada” by Progress Magazine and ranked “The #3 Great Place to Work in Canada in 2013” by the Great Place to Work Institute. Ambir was also previously ranked nationally as one of Canada’s Top 25 Up and Comers in the Branham Group Surveys of ICT Companies. In 2014, he was named by Atlantic Business Magazine as one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada.
Ian is a graduate of Acadia University & Dalhousie University in Electrical Engineering & a registered Professional Engineer in New Brunswick. He is currently a Board Governor at the NSCC, a former member of the New Brunswick Business Council and the founding Co-Chair of the New Brunswick IT Council (Now TechImpact). He is also an active mentor and investor in the tech start up/entrepreneur community.
